Delete Your Empire Auto Protect App Account
You can delete your Empire Auto Protect app account at any time. This removes your app login, app-specific settings (notification preferences, biometric flag, linked policies in the app), and associated audit log entries from Empire’s app database.
Important: Deleting your app account does NOT cancel your vehicle service contract, home warranty, or payment obligations. Your coverage with Empire and any third-party administrators remains in force. To cancel your actual coverage, please call Empire at (888) 345-0084.
How to delete your account
Option 1 — From inside the app (recommended, fastest)
- Open the Empire Auto Protect app
- Sign in with your account
- Tap Profile (bottom right)
- Scroll to the bottom and tap “Delete Account”
- Confirm
Your account is deleted immediately. This is irreversible.
Option 2 — By email (if you no longer have the app installed)
Send an email to support@empireautoprotect.com with:
- The subject line “Delete my app account”
- The email address associated with your app account
- A short note confirming you want the account deleted
We will delete your account within 7 business days of receiving the request and reply to confirm.
What gets deleted
- Your app login credentials (email + hashed password)
- Your linked policies in the app database (does not affect actual policies)
- Notification preferences
- Push notification tokens for your devices
- Audit log entries (Empire keeps anonymized records as required by law)
- Cached policy data
What does NOT get deleted
- Your underlying vehicle service contract or warranty (cancel separately by phone)
- Records held by third-party administrators (those have their own retention policies)
- Records Empire is required to keep for legal, tax, or accounting purposes
